Since we're ranting, I want to rant about people who use the word "help" in their subject lines or posts.

Of course you need help! That's why you're here asking a question. There is no need to beg/plead/make a fool of yourself. It's unbecoming.

Worst are the ones who only post "HELP!" as their subject line. I just ignore them.

I don't care how desperate/exasperated you are. Act like a civilized adult. Slap yourself a few times if you have to, calm down, and ask the question. We know you need help.
 
just about the most stupid reply I have read. Those needing help should be able to ask in any fashion. If you are so antagonized please take your attitude someplace else.
 
Your absolutely right, if I have a question I search the archives first. NEVER once have I typed "HELP" in the search box, I can only guess what might come up. It would be better to use words to describe the problem.

Help, I need less Rants and more subject material so I can
answer their questions. It's impossible to answer a Rant.

I have no problem when someone asks for help. That is why I'm here - To help others as well as ask if needed.
 
I have to agree that it is redundant. Oh well.

As long as they say why they need help.

And there are a few who just need help, period.
Although I see a lot more of that on the
"professional" farmer sites.
 

Help!!! I'm with Walt. Feel free to include a plea for help from me. It makes me feel useful.
