gutter leaf guards

What have you installed and how well do you like it.
I was looking at the ones like a big bristle brush but they are about twice as much as some others.
I had the cheap plastic mesh in a roll but the winds blow it out.

I tried a lot of things and nothing worked. I bit the bullet and had LeafGuard gutters installed and love them. I have huge trees (and their leaves) towering over the house and haven't had to touch the gutters in over 10 years. They work as advertized.

About 10 years ago I put on covers I bought at Lowes. They were $2 for a 3' section. Go on easy, slide under the bottom course of shingles and snap on the gutter edge. Trim when necessary with sissors. They've never come loose and never had a clog or needed to clean out gutters. I've got a lot of big trees around the house including a big old Sycamore with pie plate sized leaves.

I've been installing Shur-Flo. Its cheap (about 1/20 the cost of Leafguard, if you're not replacing your existing gutters). Better than any screen. Easy to install. Made in Wisconsin. And did I mention cheap? Haven't had any complaints and I've put it on 20+ houses.
Shur Flo gutter covers

I've been installing Shur-Flo as well. It's the best and most cost effective system I've installed. They also have a stepped version that clears the new style gutter hangers.

If the "bristle brush" stuff the OP mentioned is Rain Flow do not use it! It's expensive and it doesn't last long. After about 3 years it collapses. I've been pulling that stuff out and installing Shur-Flo.

I got mine a couple of seasons ago at Home Depot. They were alum and curved in 10' as I recall lengths. They tucked into the outer groove of the 5" gutter and under the shingle flap thus holding themselves in place. Work great.
