Looks great, you will be sooooo glad u did metal! Great job.
Just watch the snow slid coming off the roof!

Nice job. A steel roof really dresses up an old barn. The barn looks straight and square from my perspective.

One bit of advice, if there's fresh snow on the roof, make sure you're ready to run when you slam a side door. I made that mistake after I put new 27' sheets on my barn. I wish I would have had my hood up. Jim

no.south in mo. use to chase pheasants in that area.hows bird population so far? might have to try late hunt. visit some friends in area.

Jay NY had some real good serious advice; snow or ICE sliding off. You might be amazed. It'll sometimes build up, and just sit there, and SUDDENLY come crashing off. If it's ice, it'll sometmes come off like dropping the hammer, a 4" sled of ice at 100 miles an hour. You can buy snow stop clips, they go on to hold the ice sled as it melts.

One winter snow never came off until spring, over 5
feet when it did it was up to the eves 10 feet high
and dozer was in the barn!! Pushed as much as I
could with my truck then pushed out with dozer not a
lot of room over cab so had to get it all.
If you go with snow catchers get a layout from
your supplier as too few will not hold the snow and
break off. Snow catchers aren't cheap.

BTDT, twice.

Sept. 29, 2011 - after the massive drought, T-storm peeled part of the roof off our barn in Dallas. James & I repaired it ourselves.

After nearly sliding off twice, I told him that was the last time I was going to work on a steep roof.
