Been awhile.
Hello again everybody.
Been a rough go of it, but things have turned around a bit.
Too much metal in my body, started causin clots,
them lung ones hurt, hope nobody gets em.
Anyways, I kept my WD,
so naturally, when my neighbor 8 mile down the road put his WD up for sale, good price, good tractor, honest man...
I just had to buy it.
I can't even operate em anymore, let the young uns,
but them ol' tractors get lonely alone,
They're herd/pack equipment,
so I had to buy it so neither one got lonely.
OK, I admit...Orange Fever...
Does anyone know a cure for that?
May even cost me a wife, but just have to...

I know the malady! I have had it for 13 yrs now. SWMBO accused me of trying to save any little Allis that I happened on, but that is not accurate, cause, I have passed up several B& C tractors, cause I"ve already got one. My winter project is a stationary B engine, on a stand, with a throw out clutch behind the bell housing, I got it, it was stuck up, and is now soaking.

Tractor Fever of any color never goes away. But it's the only fever I know of that can make other fevers go away. It gives a person the strength to get up when a real fever has you down.

Had two Uncles with WD's when I was a kid, put a lot of seat time on them, one of them was bought new, I know where it is and Ive been dealing with the guy for 10 years on it, he wants way too much money for it. My cousin bought one about 12 years ago and had me go through it for him, new rims, tires, rad, manifold etc. had a wide front and loader and really clean, I guess I told him if you ever sell it I want it. So I talked to him this fall and he asked if I still wanted the WD cause after this winter he was done with it, long story short I will finally have one next summer. After packing the shed for winter I think I can fit one more in.

I got cured! I got a red one that would actually stay in gear, downhill with a load! I've been orange free for about 8 years now!
