OT Hickory nuts again

Several days ago Danofarming posted a question about Hickory nuts, it reminded me of a story.doctor gets off work every day and heads straight to the bar and orders a almond daiquiri, dick the bartender knows when Doc will be in so he always has the drink waiting on the bar.One day he has no almonds so he grinds up some hickory nuts hoping Doc won't notice. Doc takes a sip and say's is this an almond daiquiri dick? No it's a hickory daiquiri Doc.

With these you could make quite a few hickory daiquiris Doc!!

My B.I.L. loves hickory nuts so I picked a few for him this AM; glad I did because the ground is covered with a dusting of snow this PM

LOL!!! I think I will let mine dry for a month or so in the shop and then try my hand at cracking them.
