It is cold, almost 0 here this morning.

I need to move augers around so we can unload some beans tomorrow, then bring my tractor home and get it ready for winter snows.

I will load new fuel tables in MH44 and test if I get time. I am anxious to see if I can get it started on EFI after letting it cool down overnight. There is a chart for temperature compensation during starting. I may have to adjust that to simulate choking.
 
My plans changed about an hour and a half ago. I was sitting here and heard a familiar BOOM. Some long haired,tie dyed,magot infested,dope smoking freak ran the stop sign and T-boned another car. Sent the other car through the corner of a 5 strand barbed wire fence. Broke off a wooden corner brace post and a steel post in the frozen ground,took out four strands of wire.

Of course the two guys were driving along minding their own business left in the ambulance and now I have fence to fix in the near 0 wind chill and frozen ground.
 
Send a statement to his ins company for materials and labor. Be sure to adjust your labor rate to compensate for adverse conditions. (cold weather, and frozen ground) My 2 cents. Dale
 
I did that with one once. A young gal who had no business being out on a day like she was. She took out a gate post and part of a corral,late on a Friday afternoon in February. I sent them a bill for $500. They called me and squalked about it,but I told them if they knew anybody who'd come out here that time of day on a Friday and chip through the frost to do that job for less,give me their name so I could call them the next time. They sent me a check.

The big problem is,I can't turn it in to the drivers insurance myself unless I get the information from them before the cops get here. I can't get a copy of the police report myself. I have to turn it in to my insurance company and they'll give the report to them.
 
My plans changed after church! Been having swelling and pain in my left arm! A nurse at church asked me about it-mentioned 'clot' so freaked SWMBO out pretty good! Called my Dr, he said to go to ER! I have Cellulitis! Still laying in the ER bed now!
 
Well, my day went almost as planned.

I got the auger moved, but the hopper is full of ice. It is supposed to warm up next couple of days, so will break it out then.

I had a bugger of a time getting the MH44 started and found out that I sized the fuel injector to small. I cannot get enough fuel in to choke it, so ordered a bigger one.

Got my work clothes soaking, now time for a beer before family gets done with their activities.

I got it in the hospital when I got a knee replacement. It didn't show up until about three days after I got home. It set my recovery back about four days.
 
Getting to be that time of year here too. Our road ends in a "T" at my northwest line. Every year someone goes off into my neighbors field after the first snow. They are always amazed that road gets slippery when it's white.
