I have a farmall F12 with a S/n of F36335 X. but it has all the feathers of a F14. longer brake handles taller seat and steering. not sure if I have a tractor that's been pieced together from a 12 and a 14 or what. The number on the block is 3193DA not sure if that matters. looked at the pistons they are domed pistons. anyone have any ideas. let me know. Thanks

The serial number says it was built in May of 1935. I have seen a lot of F12s that were updated with the longer brake handles and elevated steering.

The last F12 built was serial number FS123942. The first production F14 was serial number FS124000, last F14 is FS155401, built on April 20, 1939.

When my Dad bought his second F 12, he had the dealer put longer brake handles, raised seat & steering. (1937)

As a matter of fact - Nebraska Kirk and I pulled a 1937 F-12 out of the "weeds" on Thanksgiving morning. It had longer brake handles and a couple other F-14 items. They will be going on my other F-12 when I put it back together.
