What ever happened to the "supposed" global WARMING that everyone was fussing about ?

From the temps that I've seen and the reported new record lows, it looks more like were starting into the next ICE AGE !

I agree, mom says: "I think we are going into a world cycle of a miniature ice age." We shall see, but so far I kind of agree! We are having a warm spell here in North ID, 19....

Last night on the local news, they said for the first 10 days in Dec. we were +0.2 degrees warmer than average because the first 5 days were warmer than normal. Guess you just have to look at the total pic.

After not having spring until late May this year and winter starting on October 15th,I'm seriously having fears that there won't be a spring and summer next year. Getting scary.

Radio said we had more snow (9inch)in the first ten days of December than in any December since 1917. Winter has set in early down here in southeast Ind. Usually no significant snowfall until January here. Our low is +6 for tonight, colder than normal.

Just spent 45 minutesd chopping (spudding) ice out of the water troughs for the sheep, goats and llamas. Carried hot water out in buckets from the house. They were almost solid ice. This is late January/early February weather, Not the first two weeks in December. Want to do some muzzle loader hunting - tis the season. But I can't cut the cold long enough to get to the back of the farm, set a spell and try to get back before hypothermia sets in. I don't warm up as well as I once did.

I'm having that problem just getting out to do chores. Can't seem to get enough clothes on to be able to stand it. Takes five minutes to get ready to go out, then I can't move for having so much on.

Bryce, I don"t know where you live, but today is a pretty nice, comfortable day South of Spokane. And it is supposed to get above freezing most of the weekend.

I hope we get some precipitation. We have NO snow cover and the cold, windy weather we have had the last week can not be good for the Winter wheat. According to the paper, we have got about 2/3 of the usual average moisture so far in 2013. I don"t really like snow much, but we really need some. Guess we will take what we get!

Just goes to prove those in D.C. don't have a clue what is really going on in the world so they all should be relieved of there jobs and replace with people who have served in the Military at some point in there life's. Yep I think to be commander in chief you need to have been a little guy first

Reminds me of the move "A Christmas Story" in which the mother tells the over dressed son that he can put his arms down when he gets to school :)

JUST REMEMBER how much money that bast==urd gore made as he conned all of with this globle warm crap. I know, watch what you list, I just get so ticked off with how much garbage is stuffed down our throats!

After getting all those clothes on and stepping outside, your suddenly realize that you forgot to use the bathroom first. Especially when you get as old as some of us.

My buddies Duramax gelled up sitting at the airport while he was out of town this week. He got it towed home and is sitting in his shop warming up now.

I made sure and put power services in my Ford, then filled it up before the snap hit.

Finally got out and cut a load of wood this afternoon. I think it got all the way up to 20 or so. So much for this global warming BS. Winter woods are a lot prettier with a little snow, so there is some compensation.
