You guys be careful out there today if you have to go any place. Here where I am we have ice and rain falling and it is said it will turn to snow later after dark so be safe out there today

Hey Old did you buy that dodge challenger or pas it up. There are a lot of guys on the list who would interested in it.

Old, I"m just east of you in Fenton, Mo.
It"s 10:30 now and cloudy. Sun was bright earlier.
We will be getting what you are in about an hour.

Up here in Oregon, MO we have lucked out and they have taken the ice out of forecast. Its all staying from Kansas city south.

Here in St. James it has been raining and freezing for about an hour now. Started around 9:30 this morning. Went out early and fed hay. Before I got done it had started raining. Put the tractor in the barn and while walking across the gravel lot I slipped and almost hit the ground. It's slick out there and still coming down. Be careful everyone.

I pasted on it due to title problems and the guy who ha the title is fighting things so it could/would be a legal battle to get a clear title and since it has sat for the last 7 or so year not sure what all might have needed to be done. Has a pack rats nest covering the engine

I saw those clouds up your way yesterday. We were over Memphis. 600 mph ground speed thanks to the jet stream.

It's not here yet near Saint Clair. It's been so calm that I did a little outdoor welding this morning along with bringing in a whole bunch of wood for the furnace.
Interesting how there are a whole bunch of us in the area but never really new it.

On my drive in to work here in Springfield it was sleeting hard at 0600 but not slick. By 0630 the parking lot was almost too slick to walk on.

Over the years I have met a few who live in Missouri. Gene Mo and Hcooke and Farmall hal I have met. Gene lives up by Boonville and HCooke lives down around Salem and Farmall-Hal around Rolla. There was another but he died a few years back and he went by Jimmy-King. Shoot David-G and Kruser stopped by this summer and Greygoat did so last summer

Our last ice storm, a few years back, brought down power lines for days. People were breaking legs, arms, even one guy died from falling, hit his head steps. Of course he was drunk at the time. That's when I bought yaktrax. I keep a pair in truck and car. Just slip them over shoe and away you go. I saw guys from the power company wearing them. Is it safe for electricials to wear yaktrax? Shouldn't they be grounded?

I went to buy them, allthe stores were sold out. I had to go online.

Bubby suggested using 1/2 sheet metal screws and turning work boots in to studded work boots. All I can say is Bubba thinks he is a real stud wearing studded work boots.

Hey Dave glad it missed you- we got it bad here. Not sure how far north but Clinton Cnty on down has it bad. Was raining early and then the temp dropped after kids in schools. Roads are sheet of ice with it flucuating between rain and frezzing rain. Temp is hovering right at 32.

Old, where are you located in Mo? Maybe I would stop in and rattle your chain sometime when I go to Kansas City to visit my kids and grandkids. Dale from NW Ia.

In Woodville mo. it started with the freezing rain about 11 this morning. Was gonna haul wood, but found it lots nicer in the warm shop working a Yamaha 3 wheeler.

Not in MO but just south about 25 miles. We had a little sleet and freezing rain earlier this AM but it's just light rain now, There is still enough ice from last week that it's hard to get around. I got Feed at Thayer yesterday and drover over to Myrtle. There were a lot of places that looked like Christmas cards

2 words for you Geo. Gulf Cleats. They work well and if you like to hit gulf balls around you should already have a pair. Me I could never understand hitting a ball in a gopher hole just to ride a cart around and pull it out to just hit it again to another hole

just drove from Kansas City to Kingdom City on I70 just rain on the highway. The gravel road to the farm was a tad icy.

Never could understand Golf. Sadistic idea of hitting a poor defenseless little ball with a big club. LOL

Seems like much ado about nothing up here in Miller County. By the time temps dropped below freezing, it had quit raining. There's a few spots one could slip if they tried, but I don't reckon we'll see the 3 to 5 inches the weather guessers were calling for.
