This morning at 4:30 am it was -20.7 and breezy in my part of Franklin County. Here's a picture of the digital last night about 10pm.

It's warmer than that up here in mid Michigan this morning. I had -6. By the time I was done with chores it was +2. Not much wind, sun's shining. The water was frozen again under the house though. It worked at 5:30 but was frozen at 7:30.

-30 when I went out to the barn this morning. All
the way up to -19 now. At least it's calm today, not
the 15-25 mph winds we had yesterday.

-13 F here this am, don't want to know what the wind chill makes it to be. Water was frozen in pumphouse last night. Went to check found outer door had come off in wind A little time with heat gun and up and going again.Chores were not too bad otherwise, wondering why I still have livestock.Remember having days like this back in the 80's when chores took ALL day. 30 some milk cows, 40 sows (farrow to finish) and 30 beef cows.
Hard time keeping house warm. The window and insulation upgrades haven't happened yet, wood pile is shrinking fast. These days will soon enough be behind us.I could actually feel the sun through the windows of the truck on the way to the shop a few minutes ago.

Do not know how cold it got last night but I had to turn on both the hot and cold water faucet in the kitchen last night or they would have froze up. Wife went to get a cup of hot water for something and the flow was down by a whole lot so had to turn it on to keep it from freezing. Camden county MO by the way
