Not that much snow so far this year but it has really been cold. Two months until spring can't come quick enough for me.

Allan, has your swather a sickle bar header? I had one of those swathers and I never was so glad to see the back of anything.....And I was only trying to cut wheat! It is wall to wall disc mowers over here now...I bought my first one in 1976....My father and uncle had a shared disc mower since 1970..our grass crops are just too dense and damp for sicklebars! This is my 10 foot machine cutting 3rd cut in September

Unless I miss my guess, you have the 'flail' conditioners, where mine are rubber chevron rolls. They're supposed to be easier on alfalfa leaves, but I don't do much alfalfa anymore.....
