Fired her up this morning and drove it around the yard.Took turns. Tightened one line and adjusted the throttle. Next we need to rent a sheet metal stretcher.

With all that six cylinder power, just hook that hood to a tree, the other end to the tractor and pull.

Nice!!! But as someone who made a living as a welder/repair man for many years I will suggest adding to the welded channel somehow. That is a real bad place to have a welded only beam. But I like the project otherwise.

It's reinforced on the inside. The plan is to bolt some 4inch plate on the outside.

I'm sure Harbor Freight has one. And probably for about a dollar two eighty nine.

That stretched frame makes me nervous. Sure seems like it ought to go all the way to the front, with bolts every so often, to distribute the weight. 'Course, I haven't seen it up close- maybe more there than meets the eye.

Put the double stack weight bracket on there. The mounts that bolt to the frame are quite long. Once you stretch that hood it will look factory. Paul

Good job. It's been fun following the progress. Now, where are the ones who said[u:e0e3933b5a] yabut [/u:e0e3933b5a]when you posted some of the first ideas you had of this project. Keep up the good work. Jim
