It sure is pretty and nice looking, to bad the cows gotta mess it all up! Does the holding pen start right buy the waterer? It looks like I see crowd gates above the alley ways right there. Thanks for sharing the pics...John

Looks a real neat job. I cannot make it out too well from the photo, but does he have the mattresses fitted in the cubicles? It looks like the heelstone is raised? is that to make up the depth of the mattress?

The little guy in blue in the 4th pic looks like he is about to "christen" the floor in the milking parlor! LOL!

Looks good- my question is, in cold country, how do you keep the water in the parlor from freezing up? And moisture on the slab freezing and turning it into a bovine skating rink? The old tie stall barns were a pain in a lot of ways, but at least they kept everything warm.

The parlor and milkhouse have infloor heat. A curtain separates the parlor from the holding area.
