substitution parts for Case from Massey

a "VC" had the continental engine NOT the "VA" the "VA" has a CASE built engine, there are LOTS of "VA/VAC" parts around good used ones should be very easy to find

Before both of us stick out foot in our mouth, a lot of those VAC components smell of Continental design and some part are the same as other Continental engines, maybe kind of like a Waukesha/Oliver deal. I did some research a few years ago for an article on the Oliver 70 which was built by Continental. Some of the dimensions for parts crossed over to Case VAC parts.

VA series engines were designed by Case and Continental built the engines from 1942 to 1948. Case had the facilities in 1948 to build the engines in 1948.

For further reference: D201 and D226 LeRoi
engines were built for LeRoi, by Allis Chalmers.
A look in and older NAPA parts book shows the
same part numbers for Allis, and LeRoi.
