good thing I had the camera in the truck, its not everyday you see 2 milktrucks,I didnt know they were for sale, and it was a long way back to see the guy pumping gas,so I didnt find out how much he wanted.

Both really neat!!

Red Cloverdale is my favorite for color, but I like the logos on the Meadow Brook Farms milktruck.

My grandfather was a self employed mechanic, he fixed a lot of trucks for the Wilson Dairy in Detroit. This was in the 1930's to early 60's.

Does packing them in ice preserve them, Larry? or is that just to
keep the milk cold?.................

Does anybody know what brand of truck those are. The reminds me of my Grandpa, He used to take me with him to deliver milk in a truck like those in the late 50's. He would stop and get some fresh donuts and give me a pint of chocolate milk. Great memory.
Are there any scale models of those trucks available. I have been looking for one.

Divco is the truck brand.

Local guy has a Divco painted like a Holstein, with fictitious dairy name on the side. Powered by a 350 small block, he can get the milk delivered in a hurry!
