Took some pics while plowing snow.

Got blizzard conditions this morning here in Western PA and it was all over by noon so got dug out this afternoon with sunny skies. Took a few pics of my house, a couple snow piles I made, and across the road my brother's new barn, nearly ready to move into, with the facility it will be replacing beside it.

By the looks of the first pic. of your house, you could use some more insulation to the right of your chimney. Perhaps you have a pull down attic access door and they are nortoious for leaking lots of heat into the truss space, without some additional control of conditioned air movement, you are wasting many BTUs of heat.
Not trying to be a critic!, just trying to save you a few bucks in the future.
We only got flurries here in central NY.

I plowed with my M-1028 military Chevy this morning.. Had to push many piles back as I was loosing the battle with the snow piles.. Not brutally, just shaving off 2 feet at a time.. My crossover relief valve on the hydraulics squeaked more than once when pushing with one side of the blade or the other.. 28 miles east of Cleveland Ohio..

No, stick built by me out of sawn lumber from the farm and salvaged barn lumber and beams. This is me on the house after getting it framed up and shingled.
