Ford 1715 PTO issues

I have a 1997 Ford 1715 compact tractor that the PTO shaft is barely spinning. If you grab the shaft you can also stop it from turning. Any help or suggestions as to where to start trouble shooting?

Does it have any remote valves?

The pto over running clutch may be bad.

I think you have a 2 stage clutch. if you mean the pto is spinning when it is not supposed to be spinning, but you can stop it with your hand (which you should never try to do) then you have a problem with the pilot bearing or clutch assembly.

Your overrunning clutch is going bad. We replaced ours with a solid shaft.
