Hurry up!

It's the first of March and we gotta get to the field..........'er not.

-5°, snowing to beat the band and stiff wind out of the east. Oh well, wouldn't be able to find the machinery under all that snow anyway.

I'm goin' back to the house. :>)

Good idea...1 would have to admit the smell of the burning dust from the muffler and manifold smells good in the spring..

Makes me think back to those years of my youth plowing in March with those damned old open station tractors.

Get froze up just thinkin' about it. :>)

I got equipment thats buried in the snow. I can't even see it, I just know about where it is.
Its going to be a while. Calling for more snow tonight and it may get up into the upper 20's by next Friday.

I was lucky I had a heat houser. Nice in the morning but cook your but in the afternoon.

I just came in from loading up three plows for next Saturdays tractor meeting, we only have about 5 inches!!! I think that is probably a record low for us... Usually we have about 4-5 feet! Although, I personally think that it is currently too cold to snow, 0... :) Have fun!!!! Bryce

I remember plowing for the neighbor on a JD G with a heat houser. If I sat down, I couldn't see over the heat houser, and if I stood, I couldn't reach the trip rope for the plow. Made a frustrating day (front wheels in the furrow, plowing thru the draw, and once thru the fence.) Maybe I was a bit young for cold weather plowing!!!

Here on the east end of Nebraska it reads a balmy 5 F, snowing hard, with 10mph winds that promise some small drifts. Was just out and highway is packed, and in places is tough to see. Glanced at my IHC when I went to the garage, was 25 inside so went back in the house.
