Darn Batteries

I went to start the wifes car the other day. Nothing. I checked the battery & it was dead. Looked in the glove box for the receipt & found it was 17 years old. I doubt it is a record but I guess I got my moneys worth.

Gosh, I felt good about the 8 years I got out of a 36 month battery. Now I feel robbed.

@#$% I only got 11 years out of my factory original Motorcraft battery. Napa said it tested bad. But the real problem was a dead spot in the starter. Maybe Napa just had a battery quota to meet?

I suspect he must have as they have addressed the issue and assured me NO batteries will ever fail in that time period again ! LOL !
