Found an interesting Loc Tite Guide

I looked up some of the suggestions from my earlier post about Loc Tite. It looks like the 680 compound and 7471 primer is what I need.

I came across a Loc Tite " Do it Right user's guide" for all of their products. It was interesting/educational to me. Maybe it will help some of you out too.

I have a guide similar to this that was CAT specific, and I also had a guide that was JD specific. Some how along the way I lost that one.

I saved this to my desk top. I may have to do some more research on this later.

Those sealers [gasket eliminators] are horrible. If they are even still good in the tube .If not they come out a lumpy mess. Permatex has much better gasket sealers then Loctite. But the threadlockers are great. I saw a fake loctite in Harbor-Freight it was 1.98 a bottle compared to 17. dollars a for the real thing . Both contained the same chemical. I bought some but have not tried it yet.
