Oats are coming up,but I've got some ponding.

Central Iowa, I went to work at 12:30am and when I got home at Noon, I had 2" in the guage along with 1" we had during the day Sunday. Lots of ponds, but going down very quick. Need the subsoil moisture.
 
Just finished planting 10 rows of an old flint corn for corn meal. Rain coming in Thursday?

Got mine in last Thursday, broadcast fertilizer Saturday. Looked at it yesterday, not much washing, but some ponding. Going to be a nasty field for sure. Wanted it to be nice and smooth for alfalfa hay field next season. NOT! What"s worse, the weeds are beginning to sprout already.
