How old is the MF30E ?

I purchased a MF 30E not to long ago. How do I find out what year it was manufactured?

Find the ser# and look in the left column under Research and Info. Serial numbers are listed there.

Don't think an MF30E would be listed but could be wrong if it has a 9A serial number. I'd think it would be from the late 80's or maybe early 90's. I don't know if the later Perkins engines had the casting date on the oil pan or not. The early ones did. That could at least give you an idea.
