Weak Hydraulic's

Posted this on the massy site know one answered thought I'd try here. Massy 1505 gauge hooked to quick disconnects on back reads 1000 psi, when lifting with nothing attached lowering reads 2000 psi. Doesn't have enough pressure to pick up the disks. It has an external pump that is belt driven. I'm thinking that a pressure releaf valve needs adjusted. Any one have an idea and does anybody know if there's pressure adjustments on this tractor. Any thoughts are welcomed.

Make sure belt is in good shape and tight. Then try adjusting releaf. Best way to know is to have flow meter connected closer to pump.

Have you tried switching around the hoses?
2000 psi should be able to lift unless there is a flow restriction.
If you are reading 2000 psi on lower and 1000 on raise, the pump is making pressure.
Try hooking the disk to another tractor to rule out a cylinder problem on it.
Try hooking up something else to the Massey and see if the problem is the same.
Couplers, linkage, fluid level, filters, loose belt, bypass in control valve...
