The tire guy was here to get that haybine tine out of that 18.4 38 radial. The bead is junk just like the one on the other side was when it blew wide open. He said he'd be back tomorrow with a new tire.
The fun never ends.

One time after a rain we were chopping corn, The tractor slid down the hill. Chopper behind it jacknifed and the one of the points on the cornhead went thru a 20.8-38 tire with 2 hours on it.
When a new tire goes, the only thing you can tell yourself nobody got hurt. Then you have to try to believe what you just told yourself.

Thar wuz a neighbor farmer, when anything went wrong he wood say, Bumm-it. One neighbor told him he should come right oot and say, Got-down-in-sum-ditch

On the bright side, at least it didn't blow while you were heading down the road... maybe that hay tine in the tire was a little "gift". :)

Ya,if that thing had blown chloride all over a convertible,a hearse or a cop car,it might not have been pretty. A whole string of noisy bikers? Now that might have been worth seeing. lol

The first summer my oldest son was out of the Air Force he worked for a local farmer. The guy had some rented ground and had my son go over and cut some hay on it. Told my son he's walked it and to just go. Son put a T post through a new rear on a 970 Case.
