Looking foreward to seeing you!!! Steve

Never was able to travel, raising three kids, just couldn't afford it. Kids are gone, but still can't afford it. If I could, I could meet some very nice people!

Hopefully I remember for next year. I hope to be making a trip east from the west coast next Jun/July.

I don't know how my parents managed, but we took a vacation every summer. I had a brother and sister and we always went somewhere, usually south, but to California once or twice to see an uncle. We have two kids and it was hard to find money for a vacation.

I wondered out to Wyoming last year, love to get back out that way but probably be a couple years before I can do that again. I'll be sure to look you up when I can get back out there.

1/3 over, my father-in-law always said after the fourth of July summer was about over. And as I have gotten older I have found that to be very true, maybe not according to the calendar, but in all actuality it is.

Coming your way early October , just did not get far enough over last year but may make it that far this fall depending on weather..jm.

I have always tried to go and do. Thought I couldn't afford it a lot of the times, but somehow we made it work. As I have gotten older I have come to the realization that we will not take any of these material things with us when our life is over. Only thing I think we will take is the memories, or leave the memories that we helped create for someone else to enjoy. Go and do as you can while you are young enough to do it. I had an older gentleman tell me when I was a young man that he and his wife had scrimped and saved all their life to have the wealth they had in their later years, but they were too old to enjoy it . Have a safe day.

When my brother was alive he owned the Cross Bar Ranch in the Monarch Valley just west of the divide. Spent many summers there baling hay and would love to get out there and see it again. When I do I will make it top priority to get over and introduce myself and have a nice visit. Thanks for the invitation. Tom

Steve,
That is a very generous invitation. My wife and I have been discussing a brief trip over to Rifle, Grand Junction and south. If it comes to pass, we"ll give you a call.

By the way, I always enjoy your posts.

You live in Gods country. I lived in Colo Sprgs for quite a while and tried to get to Glenwood wood springs, Dillon area as much as possible. Amazing area, will be back some day.
