I went to an auction yesterday and scored on a Cabela's upright sausage stuffer and a Cabela's meat mixer.
Do any of ya'll have favorite recipes for pork sausage, beef sausage, or a combination thereof? A friend of our daughter's is supposed to give me a bunch of elk meat. I don't have any deer meat at the moment.
I'll keep this tractor related. The auction was an estate auction for a former employer of mine, going back 20 to 25 years. He was a GM dealer at the time. On the auction was a D17 Allis we had around the dealership to move snow, etc.
It had a bucket loader with live hydraulics with the pump direct driven off the front of the crankshaft and an Allis snap coupler rear blade. No 3 point. One rear wheel rim was new and the other rusted badly by the valve stem. Mismatched rear tires. Nothing in better condition than "Average". Smoked significantly on startup.
Surprised me when it went for $5800. But-the loader was worth probably close to half that, even if the bucket was bent some.
