Way too muck fried squash (sqorsh, locally) even more fried okra. I love it when those two vegetables overlap! Also a ham steak that was tough as an old boot. Should have that whole hog made into sausage. Vegetables were cultivated with an Allis G, so also tractor related.

I grew up on a struggling dairy farm, and my maternal grandparents came for dinner every Sunday. Once Grandma asked how much of dinner was home grown- turns out all of it. She was raving over that, and after they left, Dad laughed and said he didn't realize that it was such a big deal- it just meant we couldn't afford to buy anything.

Get a cuber from Lehman's and make cube steak it'll tenderize the toughest deer meat.My wife runs the hindquarter meat from older deer through 2 times.
