drove passed the round valley resevoir yesterday morning,stopped to take a couple of pictures

Looks like the water is kind of low, is it used for
irrigation or household? The boat ramps are like
that in AZ, to allow for big changes in water level.
 
Actually, judging by the tree line, that level seems pretty close to normal. I love house boating on Lake Cumberland KY, but never had any luck fishing.
 
Thanks for the photos. My family once owned property very near the reservoir before it was a reservoir in the 18th century. It was off Route 31 at Foothill Road.
 
Round valley was built as a water supply for Newark ,NJ. That is all. I can still remember the farms in the valley! I think there were six of them if I am correct and they were in a semi-circle layout. I also have an old suvey map that shows it as was. Kinda like a little private valley. There is a tail that the water stays so cold that a couple of bodies are still down there from drownings.
