This is the daughters wood, 16 1/2 loggers cord, split and stacked. Really great wood white, red oak, some elm. The wood splitters been cleaned, winterised, touched up paint, and set back in the garage, I'm sure glad it's over.

Good feeling. I'm still a day late and a dollar short in having my wood supply done before winter arrives.

I can never say "Ya, that is enough". Hope to get mine under roof soon but can not imagine an orderly stack like that. Nice work.

I like to cut my wood around 18"--my stove will take a 20" if it is not too wide. If I sell any, I'm going to sell it by volume or for a bit more than rick/cord price. At 18" a rick would be 8-foot by 3.5-feet. Probably easier to just increase the price to cover the extra wood.

yeah a cord is 4 by 4 by 8 but sometimes wood is sold by the face cord 4ft by 8ft by whatever length it is cut. around here is all face cords. so saying a loggers cord is just clarifying 4 by 4by 8.

Gotta be a nice warm feeling for both of ya though. Let it snow. Whole secret to dealing with winter is preparation!
