BUUURRRR!!!!!

Global Warming seems to be showing up early and often this year.
Predicting 24 low and 49 high by Tuesday.
That is more like January weather for us. Heck we can go all winter some years and never get that cold.

Guess I better get outside and enjoy 60 now going to 73 today before the rain moves in.

You guys can close the door anytime now.

Well John we have the first snow on the ground here in North-east Iowa this morning. Highs temperatures in the mid 20s. Then a cold front through tomorrow bringing the temperatures into the single digits lows for the next few days.

A week ago tomorrow, we were 65,Monday the high was 32 at 6 AM. This morning it is -14. We had 6 inches of snow yesterday.
Deer season opened yesterday, and with a high of 13 and 25 MPH winds, there weren't many tree stand guys.

I really didn't want to pick corn today, but there's just two and a half loads left in the field I'm in two miles from home. It's supposed to drop down to 12 with a high in the 20s,so against my will,I think I'll try to finish that today and get the tractor and picker home. It's snowing, but with the temperature a balmy 30 or so,it seems like the best day to get it done.
I just got home from chopping the last of the silage corn and got the chopper home. I think that load is about half corn, half snow.

Currently 5 degrees here in central Iowa. 1 1/2" of snow yesterday. Low temps predicted thru wednesday with a high of 45 by saturday. Enjoy your week...

I don't think we have been above 15 degrees for a week. Down below zero Friday morning but its not bad when the sun shines and the wind stops blowing. Today they are talking wind chill factors in the ugly zone. Glad the combines are put away for the year.

Shoot it has not been above freezing here in the last 8 days and set a record number of days at below 40 here. Was out in a deer stand this morning and it started to snow around 9:30 and is still coming down

sounds like summer here to me,, today we got to 21 above first day above single digits we have had in 7 days for a high, I have had -25 below for two nights and most at the -15 since a week ago, sorry but to have the tempos you describe I would wear a tee shirt and shorts lol

Next to the Mizzery line we have been 40 degrees or below since Tuesday AM. A couple of days we never got over 35 but the wind was calm and the sun shining so it was pretty nice. Tomorrow is supposed to be a bad day and end in the single digits at night and then a slow warm up. Right now it's snowing

Ha Ha!! I was raised in south Arkansas. Every year one of the big farms there had a production sale of their registered cattle. One year a guy from Canada came down and didn't bring a jacket. He said that was summertime temps where he was from. The temps were in the upper 40's but damp. Before the day was over he had gone to town and bought a pair of insulated coveralls. There is definitely a difference.

Seems like it was just this past Feb we were in NO in time for the ice storm that locked us in the motel room for two days......that was rather comical.

South East Cochise County Arizona, predicting a hard freeze for tonight. We don't get that low a temp until Jan. or Feb. This global warming is sure getting old.

Oh, the temperature dropped below 35F and/or a flake of snow has fallen. Time to start cracking wise about glow-bull worming.
