How about some farm pics...

This is our little piece of paradise in eastern Washington. Pics taken by a customer around the end of August. We live over an aquifer, and irrigation is necessary to keep things growing. I grew up in dry land South Dakota...would be hard to go back now. 9 acres on the home place, 3.2 acres across the road...we grow veggies and sell roadside (SW corner of intersection). I also do custom tractor work.

L shaped farm across the road with home place in the background, looking west.

Let's see some pics of your place.

Eldon (WA) You have a nice looking place. Lots of HARD work and management needed to make produce a money maker.

Eldon, what town are you near? My brother moved to Walla Walla not too long ago from eastern Wyoming. (very dry there)

Thanks! We cheated a little to make it work, my wife and I were both working professionals early on...got everything paid off before we started selling produce. My wife quit her job 4 years ago to work the produce full time. It IS a lot of work. Growing up on a dairy farm, having a great location and great customers makes it work.

Since I live close to I-90, I get a lot of visitors from the internet. I have a large collection of Allis Chalmers tractors and equipment, most in their working clothes. Our farm is always open to visitors...some days we don't have much time to visit, tho :(

We are about 20 miles east of Spokane, 1 mile west of the Idaho border.
