Harwood Auction Tractor prices

Went to the Harwood auction, watched the 1997 JD 8200 bring $59,000.00. They said the tractor only had 1,600 hours on it, my question is, are they that hard to operate or are they a huge fuel hog? being a 1997 with that low of hours makes me think there is something wrong with them? I believe the family should be pretty happy with the sale, prices seemed average to high on most items.

That sounds better, Have to admit, my hearing is
not what it used to be... Still that seems like
allot of money...

Scott has posted the results. Click price results at the top of the banner. Doesn't look like things went as high as they did at Walkers sale in September.
Did you get any cattle handling equipment Leo?

I tried, the one unit I really wanted went well over my limit. Did manage to get a really good deal on a Priefert S04, with the palp cage, 12'alley and a 90 degree sweep, well over 20% off list, and I have the 5 year warranty to boot. Was fun watching some of the trucks that got stuck in the field. Did you go?

No,I didn't make it. I hauled manure in the morning and picked corn in the afternoon. I shouldn't go to the one coming up over by St Johns this coming Saturday, but there's something there I'm interested in.

I won't be going to that one, I hope you have better luck than I did, although, If i had bought the chute at the auction, I would have missed out on a great deal on the new one. Be careful where you park, it will likely be solid in the morning, but if the sun comes out the fields turn to soup quick.
