Andy Griffith Christmas Trivia?

Yep,it was Ben. Trying to get himself locked up so he didn't have to spend Christmas Eve alone.

Like when Cousin Pearl asked Jethro why there wasn't any snow in California. He said "I didn't take it,honest!".

ok,,in a different episode, who dropped the Christmas bulbs off the roof of the jail, and the crooks stopped thinking it was a machine gun?

the guy who played Uncle Joe was in a Andy Griffith episode too..any one remember it?,he was a trveling handyman, took Aunt Bee out on a few dates

Ya,but I don't think she was the best looking. She was the nurse who's father was rich wasn't she? There was another blonde in a few episodes who was better looking. She was the one that Andy kept trying to get some alone time with and Barney kept getting in the way. Barney finally had the whole town at her house when he was convinced Andy was going to propose to her that night.
I can't for the life of me think of her name. She was one sweet looking gal though.

And Peggy was The one whos father was rich,,,he owned the RM grain elevator in Raleigh,he bought Peggy a brand new T bird,,Barney told Andy it will never work ,she is too rich, you should dump her.

Andy said,Mary Ive been tryin some time now to court you,do you mind if I kiss you?She said you might just as well,I Dont think no one will notice....

I think that was Edgar Buchanon. He played a bum in one episode of Leave it to Beaver. Beaver let him in the house and he ended up taking a bath in their tub. Didn't go over too good with Ward at first.

Ben Weaver is the answer on that one. the store keeper guy.

That episode also has that Elenor Donuhue singing Away in a Manger.

Does anybody remember what show Eleanor Donahue was on for quite a few years prior to that? She played the oldest daughter.
