Is this just a re-badged Deutz?

Our neighbour had one exactly like that. it was his
dads and he brought it over from switzerland.
It made lots of noise and lots of smoke.

It always seems weird watching those European tractors on U-tube...they are always belching out black smoke. I thought they had stricter air pollution rules over there....

You can see the grille badge "CCIL". Deutz tractors were brought into Canada by Canadian Co-operative Implements Ltd. (Winnipeg) after CCIL and Cockshutt cut ties after Cockshutt was bought out by Oliver in the early 1960's. CCIL sold Deutz and Volvo tractors for a number of years, as well as Steiger. The 100 06-series were painted in Co-op orange as were the other makes, but the earlier Deutz were left in their green livery.

Wish I was closer. That would be something restored. I like the whole unusual look of the entire tractor. You would not see a bunch of them around.

I can't say much about how far the Deutz pulled the sled, but did any of you notice the Case 301 Diesel hooked to the leveler?? There wasn't a lot of them made back in 56-57 either.

Don't think so there are lots of cars and trucks that are run in Europe that can't be imported to the USA because of pollution standards. They're better at preaching than doing(LOL)

I can reply to that with a four letter word
beginning with F...FORD!
We say over here "Nothing runs like a Deere
maybe but nothing smokes like a Ford. A friend
of mine bought a Sanderson Forklift which was
built around a Ford 6600 skid unit. He told me
he just got sick of it when working inside
buildings cos of the constant smoking. When he
asked the dealer he bought it off what he could
do to stop it smoking he said "Switch her off,
its a Ford Fords smoke!"
The best engines we found in Europe where
emissions were concerned were The German MWM
engines as fitted to Fendt,Renault and Some
Steyr tractors.
