Allan, Looks like to me you were having too much too much Fun and getting things Done when that crappy ol bolt broke!

Good Afternoon Allen

Boy that sure beats a shovel .Back in the mid I worked at a Catholic Parish in New Mexico . It snowed that winter , their area covered a city block . I had just finished shoveling the sidewalks set down for coffee break & here it came again , I told the Priest that they need either a snow blower or a good garden tractor with a plow
that I wasn t going to shovel it again .

Get a back up camera system. You can use it for the baler also.

Somebody ought to market a kit where you could take
an old hydro combine like a jd6600 with a cab and
mount one of these snowblowers to it. Use the
header lift to raise it up and down. Somehow get a
pto shaft to it. Or a self powered snowblower that
would fit any combine - that would work.

I think a person could take an old combine with a grain head, take the reel and cutter bar off. Then using the remaining auger for the first stage, block the feeder house with a steel plate and mount the second stage there. The challenge would be the space between the auger and the back of the grain table, might have to be some sort of funnel lift. I think it would work.

that is clever.

wonder if other combines would be any easier to convert.

I suspect he has a few $$s in that machine especially if he had to buy much to put the PTO in.

but he could use it for other 3pt PTO stuff too.

That thing makes my 7' New Idea look small. I would like to see some pics of that thing in action, i bet the snow coming out those chutes is impressive.
