i have two tractors a farmall 200 with C-135 and a case 530 gas and i have flappers(rain caps)on the exhaust of both. ive always noticed when you put them both under a heavy load the flapper goes atraight up like its running a much larger comression. why is this?

It is attributed to higher air flow through the engine as the
governor opens the carb up. Also, the exhaust is hotter
under load, increasing its velocity.
