This was the last of the line made by IH GB up to 1968. Clearly see the origins of the 1940's W-6. The rear axle casting had changed to include an internal hydraulic ram to lift/lower the 3 point but no depth control.

A "Farmall" version was also made with wide front or V twin front for export.

When did they start to require Rops or cabs over there?

Safety cabs & ROPS became law in 1972. All new tractors manufactured after 1972 had safety cabs fitted as standard. Only small tractors were fitted with folding ROPS to use around farm yards & orchards.

Many of the original weather cab manufacturers then built safety cabs with new fenders to fit onto tractors built pre-1972.
