Tried to catch you couple weeks ago. Need your help on those little hydro fans. Got a picture on my ingy, looks backward to me and Tom Arnold. How were yours on the deines. Tom

Turning it around will be the ticket. The blades will still be angled the same way but the blade curve will be correct for blowing toward the fins. Jim

Is that the flywheel end of the engine to the right of the hydro (with the screen on it)?

If so, the fan will be turning "top to the right" and fan will blow AWAY from the hydro even if flipped around.

Air, are both fans the same "pitch"... if they ARE you KNOW one of them is wrong, if one needs to blow air to the left and the other to the right.

I make two assumptions (dangerous) the first is that the fan is OEM, and the second is that the engine output shaft turns CCW in the image. Jim

Your setup is just like mine. I got my hydro fixed
with the right fan blade. I will take a couple pictures
here in a second when I'm done with lunch.

Ok , here are a couple of pictures. One I took from
the top down (engine is front of machine) and the
other I took from the back. These mowers are like a
grasshopper mower in that they have the deck out
front, then the driven wheels, then a single tail
wheel. The pic from the back I took just in front of
the tail wheel looking forward. The fans rotate
toward the engine and blow air over the hydro. One
had been replaced with the wrong one, so it had
two right fans. On the left side it did nothing but
blow on its neighbor across the way.

Turning it around you still have the fins going the wrong way. I thought the same thing when I had the wrong fan.
