I was cutting grass in the fields today, when I almost ran over this little fawn just laying in the rye grass. It never moved while I was only about 3 feet away on the tractor. The little fawn laid in the grass all afternoon, until the mother came calling in the evening.

They never lay still for me. They wait until I'm almost on top of them (where I can't see them) then bolt, leaving me to have to clean my shorts.

I ran one out of my tractor shed this week, laying under my dyno. Sure was able to run!!
