The estary of the River Nevern in Newport Bay 3 miles from my home. Beautiful sandy beach.

Wizzo sir. Question about the flag pole. Thought came to me that the purpose was to post flags indicating inclement weather,
especially high winds so boaters out in the ocean could come home before it hit. True/False.

Beautiful country! I would suspect that the Parks Dept. would ensure a good supply of wild flowers by planting more from time to time. There is a considerable variety on display there. Thanks for the post.
