I am new to tractors with scv oulets,or hyro-oulets on back of tractor, on a tractor that one set of oulets which one is say supply or pressure up side and the other one would be down of course,......also if the implement to be used only has one hose on such as bush- hog or disk where do I plug in the hose. thanks for your replies

You can hook them up either way how you hook them will change whether you push or pull to raise your implement . so either side is pressure depending whether you are rasing or lowering your implement

..and if you only have a single-acting cylinder (one hose), then your tractor control valve must be capable of being set for single-acting operation. Usually a screw on it somewhere.

Depends on tractor model also. Some tractors (older Case for instance) have couplers for each lever separated with one on each side. In other words, top couplers are for one lever and bottom couplers for other valve.

Get the operator manual for the tractor...will tell you about the scv operation, one hose/two hose/float position, etc. Some tractors have both single and double acting hyd, using different valves.
