OT Back from the land of 10000 lakes

I made the trip up to Duluth Monday afternoon for work this week. It is absolutely a beautiful water front, so watched some iron freighters go in/out. I went to customer site this morning, they were not ready, which is typical about half the time, did what I could and traveled home this afternoon. It looks like I will have to go back up there in a few weeks, doubt it will be in the upper 80s then.

Last time I was in Duluth with my family, we toured an old ore boat which was very fancy and the maritime museum. Very interesting.

The WW2 museum in Superior is superior. It features a local hero that was an ace in WW2 named Richard Bong. He grew up a little east of there. It has a P-38 Lightning in there that he flew. Well worth your time.

Duluth has a very good railroad museum. Lots to see, do and eat in that town.
