I had a misfire in my f150 triton engine, I I replaced 6 out of 8 spark plugs, it wasent a real bad job, but 7 and 8 look to be a little harder, my buddy put his compute on it and told me # 2 cylinder has the misfire, put a new coil on and I'm good to go. When I took the old coil out I see it was cracked, dident see it the first time when I changed the spark plug! It was a good day. Lol, but on the other hand oh how I love my f250 7.3 power stroke, that's been one awesome engine as far as needing nothing so far.

The 2001 van with 7.3 that I drove for four years was very reliable and the only thing that caused a problem was the cam position sender. I never new until 3-4 years later that it didn't have any power. Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

I must say that I have been amazed at the dependability of the electronics on most vehicles today. Considering the amount of heat, dirt, and vibration that they are subjected to. However, when components do break down they can be a gross discomfort in the midsection.
