Just got back from Ireland and here's a couple of shots I took. Got lots of pics but they'll have to wait.

From top of Blarney castle and the Jameson tour. Empty bottles chandelier. I called it Jameson lite.

Spent the month of September of 2013 and 2014 there and it is one of our favorite places to travel. The friendliest people that I have ever had the privilege to be around and the
country side is absolutely beautiful. The words of the Irish song about the "Breeze as sweet as Chalimar and Forty Shades of Green" come to mind. Will be going back soon. Tom

Tom, that "Irish" song, 'Forty Shades of Green" was written by Johnny Cash while visiting Ireland in 1958. Even some younger Irish think it's an old, old folk ballad.

We went with a group and our bus driver/tour guide was very informative and mentioned the Johnny Cash song.
Was in the southern part of Ireland where went to Kilkenny,Cork,Cobh(Cove) which was the last port for the ill-fated Titantic. Also the Lusitania was sunk 5 miles off the coast there by a torpedo. Took the ring of Kerry tour around the mountains which are near the ocean. Also visited Galway and the cliffs of Moher and many other interesting places.

Jerry,
You are absolutely right, Johnny Cash did write that song but it is about Ireland and it has been sung by about everyone that has ever sung a Irish song. The words of that song are so
true of the Irish Countryside. Johnny Cash's music is very popular in Ireland.

(quoted from post at 17:47:42 10/15/15) Both great photos.

Really love the castle from the aerial perspective.

Same Castle with blarney stone on top and looking down center with missing floors but you can see the ledges where they were.
I have lots of camera pics but it's borrowed. These are phone pics.
