Countertops are on back order, can't finished the foyer tile under they are in. Can't lay carpet until the tile is down.

I'm going outside and play with a red tractor! :>)

Those Ford's have a long history of recalls related to fire starting. Were they able to determine if yours did ?

Welcome to 'Remodeling 101'. I have found that in a situation like this a couple of fingers of Rye helps.

Really looking good! Have fun playing with the tractor! What is your youtube channel name? I lost the paper that had I had it on, need some pickin' & grinnin'

Hate to be the one that has to say it... But ahh,,, that should teach you to mix a Chevrolet and a Ford at the same house. SOMEONE was gonna get upset! :p

Unless the countertops are due real soon I don't know why you couldn't do the foyer tile. They install countertops all the time in houses with tile and carpet on the floor.

What I really don't understand is where is the wall cabinets?

Lookin better every day-- does you good to take a little time off and think about how you are going to do things when it all comes in, might think about something that needs done or done a little differently. Keep up the good work.

I really like the archway and what looks like a small cove behind it.

Those are the architectural features that most new houses leave out.
Most new houses seem to be a box, no angles, no style, no archways/arched windows, no decent trim, etc.

I love the character and style of an old house.

before someone jumps all over me i need an update on Allan is he doing a remodel or did he remodel on another one?
i lost track of what is happening with him after the fire

If you have told us then I didn't see it. Is this house on your ground? How far is it from where the fire happened? I am looking forward to hearing that you are moved in. Paul

If I remember right there was house on the farm that was started and never finished. He's finishing it now and from the looks of it it's going to be a nice one.

Great job Allen. Keep plugging away at it.

dry wall looks like its going good. Appliances are of good stock should last awhile. So tell us did you have any luck finding the doors with the eyebrow in them? Sorry if you have answered this I haven't seen it. I am curious cause I am going to be dealing with specialty doors soon and guess I want to see the availability factor for them. You must not sleep much at night concidering all the work you get done.
