I am wandering if anyone can help me identify my tractor it came with my house, the manuals left for it cover 12models 2000-5550 1965-1975. I fond the identification numbers and here is where my problem began mod#c5c12k prod#1l22b ser#c322163. and I know it does not necessarily mean much but the front has a decal that says 4500 however the sites all seem to say its a 1971 3000 but given the decal and pictures I've seen it does not seem right. I'm just trying to order the front hydraulic pump which says Cessna 245xx I think but part of the number is scratched off any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks mel

Hi Mel

Looks like you have a ford tractor so suggest you post this on the ford tractors board as there are some very clever people who can work out the numbers and letters for you, may even be able to tell you what day and shift the tractor was built! The cessna hydraulic pump could be
supplied by a hydraulic shop. Here were I live we have hydraulic specialists and they can supply most hydraulic things. All the best.

Go to John Smith's terrific site, oldfordtractorsdotcom. Click on Tractor ID/History, scroll all the way
down. Think you'll find what you need.

The model number you have is not correct. If it is C5012K It would be a 1971 3500, diesel with vert exhaust, trans driven 540 PTO and 6x4 manual transmission.

hey thank you for the resource it showed me where to find the plate under the engine cover which confirmed the numbers I got near the flywheel along with engine transmission and hydraulic pump numbers thanks for the help

hi mark thanks for the info turns out its the right number went to the site another member recommended and found the plate under the engine cover and it was the same as the ones I got near the flywheel.so thanks again

You'll probably find the pump is obsolete so any hydraulic shop you choose will sell you a replacement that will fit. You don't really need to know the numbers if you can't get a direct replacement anyway.
