When I was in the hospital getting an operation,my daughter and wife waited in the waiting room for 4 hrs, While she was waiting,my daughter painted this picture of an 8 n Ford ,just from memory.

I couldn't paint a room without painting everything in it, including me, so I ain't going to try a picture.
These 4 are hanging out in the greenhouse, the two paintings (saw, carved out frame) are by someone we know from Sheboygan. The other two are "retail"(common) ones we picked up some place.

These are works done by a local artist that does a lot of rural scenes, some here on the yard. These he posted on his website or FB page. I chose a few to give yous an idea, check out more by hitting link... I think he sells them only at his studio/gallery in Manitowoc.

Well, I guess these pics apply here. About 15 years back I relocated my Fireplace Extrodinar, an airtight 0 clearance fireplace in the middle of our house. It is free standing, open on all 4 sides, and well supported from the cellar below. As you all know by now, I love being in the woods, so I brought the woods into our house with a large wall mural that surounded the fireplace area. Also had one adjacent interior wall that I built a false wall behind and framed in an old double hung window from the farmhouse and backlit the whole thing. It's like being out in the woods with the comfort of a nice fire on a cold night, and the backlighting on the mural looks like moonlight shining down thru the trees. It came out better than I had imagined.
Can any of you see the whitetail deer in the woods behind the fireplace?
The mantle and trim work is hand made from a dead maple that I cut up in the sugar bush.

Picture with boy and cat a good friend painted in school and later gave to me. The boy with sled and cows just liked it so bought it.
