tonights feature night is by Brad Gyde and Cory Schmidt,,,they want to see things in pieces..parts in inventory,,and projects in progress,,or on hold

I guess you could say this one's on hold. I've had it striped down like this for a year now.
I took the hood, grille and fenders to the body shop a year ago. I December I told him to just finish the hood and grille and I'd get new fenders. He still doesn't have even the hood done,so it's just sitting.

Running a little late tonight huh larry... was just debating jumping off or starting the thread myself.

Any way we have the cub in the shop to figure out why it was rattling, got parts all over.

split, stripped block to side.

the parts W6 we pulled the engine out of to repower the T6

Getting the engine out of the shed was the challenge. Had to lift it to the truss, swing it over on top of the thrashing machine, then lift/swing with 2 chain hoists along another truss over a truck then hook to the loader to carry to shop.

Have more projects waiting till time and money find there way here. Those include the B(smoking oil),M (tight),TD6(bought with parts off, needs OH), WD9(head gasket, minimum)....I could go on.

My MF 180 that I'm working on. Rebuilt hydraulic pumps, rear seal
and clutch. I worked on the tilt steering column today. I need to
get the steering shaft built up and turned back down to accept
new bearings.

I have parts and unfinished projects! Last year I acquired the row crop 77 and HG plus a 3 bottom plow. Most of my tractor parts are 1650 that has busted block. The 77 just needs rear rims and tires so soon as I win the lottery I can fix that.

Still working on this 6420, replacing under-cab climate control ductwork, throttle and climate control cables, lots of wiring and all hydraulic hoses that were damaged by a fire, and correcting a hydraulic system standby pressure control issue.
The hydraulic pump is cleverly hidden under the cab, a little to the right of the area in the lower photo. FUN!

Notice the light from the LED bulb in the trouble light.

Brendon, did uou consider bronze bushings with zerks instead of the needle roller? Fit up our 180 5hat way a few years back.Assuming you ment in the tilt column ?

My 1030 project which is currently on hold while funds build up. Getting a new engine, clutch, 4spd trany gears, diff spider gears, pto clutch, water pump, all new gaskets and seals, cab, seat and paint and a bunch more stuff. I have the engine parts, clutch, and trany gears now, just gotta get the rest. The last pic is my favorite showing the factory original air filter still in it when I got it.

I think that is what I'm going to have to do. I've got one new bearing for it and cannot find a second. I'm heading for the machine shop in the morning. Its kind of a weak link in the set up.

Here is my 60, Lots of parts and pieces. Last pictures are of it packed up and ready for delivery from my fathers house to my house.

Jared

PS sorry for the upside down pictures.

Only digital picture i have of the 5500N cab tractor I am finishing. It ran up and down the driveway on Friday! Blew a steering hose, but ran and moved under it's own power for the first time in years. Cab frame may go on tomorrow...

One of my projects, a T6 Crawler

And a 2290 Case that I took in on a trade for a rough JD 4010 diesel thinking it'd make a good project to flip, or possibly use, but the more I look into it, the worse it seems (has a TERRIBLE knock in the engine, and previous owner said powershift slips bad) so I'm probably going to end up parting it out.

What's left of a 706 diesel and a 856 gas I've been parting out. 706 ran and moved, but was abused, 856 had a busted block.

A couple more parts tractors, 706 gas with a busted block and a M with a chunk out of the block from a broken rod for parts, and a 300 Farmall Z casting rear end

I've made a fun little hobby for myself selling a few used parts. Most of the tractors I get come from a couple local scrappers, and one local yard, but some come from trading parts, pieces, etc..

I try to sell whole what seems salvageable (like a pretty decent Oliver 70 I have behind the shed, not in the pictures). What don't get much interest whole, or just seems too far gone (like most of the tractors in the pictures) I part out.. I make a couple bucks that I get to reinvest into other projects. They can't all be saved I suppose, but I figure if I can get em out of the scrap yard, tear em down, and save a few others by selling the parts I'm doing the right thing, mostly.

Here's a couple. I have lots of projects in waiting. CAT R4, MM UTIL with Lull loader, the steam sawmill
again, MM UTI with blade and winch, MM RTI with backhoe and back fill blade.

Brad - how good is the seat on the 706? Neighbor has been looking for one.
