Consignment sale at Goessel, Kansas:

JD 9600 combine - $16,200
JD 930F header - $4,500
CIH 7140 MFWD - $19,250
AGCO 14 Wheel rake (like new) - $6,200
1972 Chevy C50 truck with bed and hoist (nice) - $4,000
JD 4010 tractor - $5,200
JD 672 hyd side rake - $1050
JD 214T baler with V4 Wisconsin engine that ran excellent - $500
 
Having never seen any of these items, I really can't offer a definite opinion, but just seeing the selling prices I'd say there were some bargains. It was a consignment auction though, so one can't be sure of anything.
 
Still see those old straight trucks bring good money. That might be why I have three here - I found two that were a steal of the month and snatched them up. $4000 for a truck that old isn't out of bounds in Kansas if it was in good shape. That combine seems very low. I hope so. I have visions of my 9500 being worth double that (OK, not quite double). Mine's been babied and has 2000 seperater hours, though.
