Snap on dual eyebolts

I have never used snap on duals. I have axel mounted on the tractors I have duals on. However, I do not have another set of hubs for the newest tractor. My 450D. I bought a set of snap ons with clamps but do not have the eyebolts. Is there a kind that is better than the others? Cast? fully welded? something that replaces the nut on the bolt? Any help is appreciated!!!

Thanks Matt

I have both. Cast and welded steel. Both perform equally well. Both are threaded to 'replace' a nut.The welded steel I acctually made myself.Used 1/2" round stock bent into a 'U'shape. Then welded to a nut.Made 12 (6 per wheel),to go on the 1256,but 8(4 per wheel) would have sufficed.30 years ago I made a couple out of 3/8 round to replace a couple missing cast ones on the 706 when I first bought it. They are still there....You can buy new cast 'eyes' from your nearest dealer,on your farm tire store should be able to order.

I don't think they cost much but being as cheap as I am I made mine. Took about 2 and a half inches of 1/4X2-1/2 angle, drill a hole in each flange, one to slip over wheel bolt and one to hook clamp in. Works good.
